Hi, I'm Ashley (she/her).
Whether you're trying to become a parent, expecting a baby, recovering from a difficult birth, or adjusting to life after having a baby, this season of life can bring emotions and experiences you never expected.
You may feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of how to navigate everything that has changed. Maybe you're carrying grief after infertility or pregnancy loss, struggling with a birth experience that didn't go the way you hoped, or trying to find your footing in your new identity as a parent.
You don't have to navigate it alone.
My work focuses on helping individuals feel supported through the full spectrum of perinatal experiences—from trying to conceive and infertility to pregnancy, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, postpartum challenges, and the many changes that come with becoming a parent.
Why Perinatal Mental Health Matters to Me
After my own experience becoming a parent, I realized how many people go through these transitions without adequate emotional support. The gap in care for perinatal and postpartum mental health became deeply clear to me. I believe this time deserves specialized, informed attention — and that support is most healing when it comes from someone who truly understands what it’s like to be in that space.
This work is both professional and personal for me. My goal is to help others feel seen, validated, and supported through whatever part of the journey they are on — whether that’s navigating grief and loss, recovering from a traumatic birth, or simply adjusting to a new sense of self as "mom."
My Approach
I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant, and I specialize in perinatal mental health.
EMDR has become an important part of my work because I have seen how difficult experiences can continue to affect us long after they are over. Sometimes you understand intellectually that something is in the past, but your body, emotions, or nervous system continue to respond as though it is happening in the present.
EMDR can help you process those experiences without requiring you to repeatedly retell or relive them.
Alongside EMDR, I integrate relational, somatic, and mindfulness-based approaches based on your individual needs and goals. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert on your own experience.
What It Feels Like to Work With Me
Therapy doesn't have to feel like sitting across from someone who is analyzing you.
I want our work together to feel like a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing—even the thoughts, emotions, or parts of yourself that feel messy, uncertain, or difficult to understand.
Clients often describe me as compassionate, direct, and easy to talk to. I strive to create an environment where you feel safe enough to slow down, explore what's underneath the surface, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
You don't need to have everything figured out before you begin therapy. We can figure it out together.
A Little More About Me
While my work as a therapist is a significant part of who I am, I also understand how important it is to know the person you're inviting into your life during a vulnerable season.
I'm a mom, wife, and dog mom who understands firsthand how much life can change when you become a parent. When I'm not in the office, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, traveling, or enjoying time outside. I love a good coffee shop and am a total foodie. I believe therapy works best when you can show up as your whole self--and I try to do the same.
Let's See If We're a Good Fit
Finding the right therapist is personal, and you don't have to know exactly what you need before reaching out.
I offer a free 20-minute consultation where we can talk about what's bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and determine whether I—or another clinician on my team—may be the right fit for you. Please reach out via this form or email to schedule!
